State barber license earned through DOL Registered Apprenticeship. Requires 2,000 total hours (1,500 OJT + 500 RTI) under employer supervision, competency verification, and state board exam. RAPIDS: 2025-IN-132301.
DOL RegisteredAdditional apprenticeship programs (culinary, diesel) are in development pending employer partner agreements.
Training may be funded for eligible Indiana residents.
Funding eligibility (WIOA, WRG, Job Ready Indy, IMPACT) is determined by your local WorkOne office or agency — not by Elevate for Humanity. Registered Apprenticeship credentials require employer-validated OJT hours and are governed by DOL standards.
