Before You Arrive
Your enrollment coordinator will send you a welcome packet with everything you need to know before your first day. Read it. It covers:
Orientation Day
Your first day is orientation. You will not jump straight into coursework. Instead, you will:
Meet your instructor and classmates. Programs run in cohorts, so you will train with the same group throughout the program. Your instructor is an industry professional with real-world experience.
Review the student handbook. This covers attendance policies, grading, code of conduct, and grievance procedures. You will sign an acknowledgment form.
Complete enrollment paperwork. If you have not already signed your enrollment agreement, participation agreement, and FERPA consent, you will do so during orientation.
Tour the facility. You will see the classrooms, labs, and equipment you will be using. For trades programs, this includes the hands-on training area.
Set up your LMS account. You will get login credentials for the Elevate learning management system, where you will access coursework, track progress, and submit assignments.
